Triangle Tweener PlayMetrics Big News!

Good morning Triangle startup ecosystem!

Quick/short note this am to share the great news that PlayMetrics, both a Tweener List and Tweener Fund portfolio company has landed an investment by Dallas based sports-focused PE firm Blue Star Investment Partners. As part of this investment, the Tweener Fund also enjoyed its first exit! Traditional VC funds look to have their first exit in 3-5 years so we’re pleased that our unconventional index, Triangle-only strategy has exceeded expectations!

Congrats to Michael Doernberg and the entire PlayMetrics team. This brings a ton of capital to the Triangle, rewards our ~150 Tweener Fund LPs and this is Blue Star’s first flag planted in the Triangle.
